  Manufactured lures in the late 1940's and continued into the 1970's. They produced quite a few models, such as, the: Clipper, Surf Slapper, Cape Codder, Rhode Island Special, and Pugnose.The older glass eyed baits from the 1940's & 1950's are another of my favorites. They also made a full line of metal lures [ tin squids ], doodlebugs [ bucktail jigs ], etc. At this time, I do not know if the company was ever sold. But, I do know their address changed a few times over the years. The last known address I have is:

 In the later years, they made freshwater and saltwater baits,[ spoons, jigs, and plugs ], and also expanded their product line to include jewelry. The plugs were made smaller, with decal eyes, and with new names. Such as, the: Cutlass, Flapper, Pop-Along, Dart-Along, Swim-Along, Pop-Dinger, Bass-Akward, [ Jointed ] Swim-Along, and Wing-Ding.

"Point Jude Bait Co.", was one of the largest saltwater lure companies of the time, and one of the longest lasting.
