" Fishmaster Sporting Goods Co."   The Fishmaster Sporting Goods Co., Wollaston, Mass. was founded by Lew Enholm [ President ] and John Gamsby [ Manager ] in 1945. In 1946 the company began manufacturing wooden saltwater lures; a short time later luremaker Jerry Sylvester approached the company to have them build two of his lures, the "Jerry's Flaptail" and "Jerry's Jointed"; a deal was finalized and the lures were then added to the Fishmaster line. Lew sold the company sometime in 1950.
