~ Channel Bass ~

The channel bass [aka. red drum, redfish, spottail bass ] was a very important fish to the surf-caster during the first half of this century, they are bottom feeders and bait is used almost exclusively. They have a range extending from Massachusetts to Florida, although today they are tough to find north of the Delaware Bay. On this page we will take a look at some items pertaining to the channel bass and their cousin the black drum.
